How to Reset a WordPress Site

Edited

Overview:

There may be times when you want to reset your WordPress site back to a default state, essentially starting over with a fresh installation. Resetting a site on BionicWP will completely wipe your database, plugins, uploads, and any non-default themes and reinstall a fresh WordPress installation. This action is irreversible, so make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.

Steps to Reset Your Site:

  1. Navigate to https://my.bionicwp.com.

  2. Log into your account and go to Sites in the left navigation.

  3. Find the site you want to reset.

  4. Go to the Advanced tab and scroll down until you see the Delete Site section.

  5. Click the Reset to Fresh WordPress button to reset the site.

  6. Wait for the reset. The system will handle the process, and once complete, your site will be restored to its default WordPress state.

Important Notes:

  • Double-check that you are resetting the correct site to avoid accidental data loss.

  • Consider backing up any content or settings you may need before performing the reset.
