What will happen if I archive my existing Whitelabel plan?

Edited

Overview

In the BionicWP platform, Whitelabel partners can create and manage their own plans by mapping them to Bionic’s core plans. Over time, you might want to retire or replace a plan, in which case, archiving it is the appropriate action.

Archiving a plan removes it from being selectable for new site launches, while still preserving it for historical reference and billing continuity.

How It Works

When a Whitelabel plan is archived:

  • It is no longer visible to end users during new site creation

  • Existing sites assigned to the archived plan remain unaffected

  • You cannot edit the plan once archived

  • Stripe continues to bill existing subscriptions tied to it as usual

  • The archived plan cannot be deleted if it is assigned to any active site

This ensures stability in billing and avoids disruption for current customers.

Step-by-Step: How to Archive a Whitelabel Plan

  1. Log into the Customer Portal (Admin Access)
    Navigate to https://my.bionicwp.com

  2. Go to Admin → Whitelabel Settings → Plans Tab
This is where you can view all plans and add-ons under your WL account.

  3. Locate the Plan You Want to Archive
Find the specific plan in the list that you want to retire.

  4. Click the “Archive” Icon
Next to the plan, you’ll find an archive or status toggle icon.

  5. Confirm the Action
A confirmation modal will appear. Once you confirm, the plan status changes to "Archived".

  6. Verify Plan is Archived
The plan will now show a grayed-out or “Archived” status and will no longer be selectable during site creation.

Pro Tip: Before archiving a plan, double-check if any new onboarding or pricing flows reference it.
