BionicWP's storage policy calculates total container storage by combining the sizes of both live and staging environments. Each site includes 5GB of storage, with overage charges applying beyond this limit.

How It Works

Storage Calculation

  • Live Site Storage: Includes all files and the database of your live WordPress site.

  • Staging Site Storage: Encompasses all files and the database of your staging environment.

  • Total Container Storage: The sum of live and staging site storage.

Included Storage and Overage Charges

  • Included Storage: Each site comes with 5GB of total container storage.

  • Overage Charges: If your total storage exceeds 5GB, a charge of $2 per additional GB applies.

Notifications and Dashboard Visibility

  • One-Time Notification: When your site reaches the 5GB limit, BionicWP sends an automated email alert.

  • Dashboard Insights: The Site Details screen displays both live and staging storage usage, along with a 5GB usage indicator, allowing for proactive storage management.

Managing Storage

  • Regularly monitor your storage usage via the BionicWP dashboard.

  • Optimize your site's storage by removing unnecessary files or data.

  • Consider upgrading your plan if your storage needs consistently exceed the included limit.
