How to Delete/Cancel a Site

Edited

Overview

Deleting a site from BionicWP permanently removes it from your dashboard, including all associated backups, performance data, and support access. This action is typically used when a site is no longer needed or is moving to another provider.

Use this feature when you're cleaning up unused sites, reducing your active site count, or offboarding a client.

How It Works

When you delete a site from BionicWP, it’s completely removed from our system—this includes hosting, backups, performance reports, and access to support. This action is irreversible, so it’s important to double-check before proceeding.

Prerequisites

  • Only users with Admin or Owner permissions can delete a site.

  • Ensure you’ve downloaded any necessary backups or data before deleting.

Limitations

  • Deleted sites cannot be restored, Please contact support if you want to get a site restored.

  • DNS settings are not automatically changed—this must be handled separately.

Step by step instructions

  1. Navigate to https://my.bionicwp.com/

  2. Log into your account and go to “Sites” in the left navigation.

  1. Find the site you want to delete.

  1. Scroll down the site dashboard until you see the “Delete Site” Section.

  1. In the “Delete Site” section click on the “Delete Site” button.

  1. This will delete the site immediately, and you won’t be able to restore it. Please reach out to support@bionicwp.com if you accidentally deleted the site.
