How to Purge All Cache

Edited

Overview

Caching enhances your website's performance by storing frequently accessed data, reducing load times for your visitors. However, after making updates or changes to your site, it's essential to clear the cache to ensure that the latest content is displayed. BionicWP provides a straightforward method to purge all caches associated with your site.

How It Works

BionicWP utilizes multiple caching layers, including server-side caching and edge caching, to optimize site performance. Purging all caches ensures that outdated content is removed, and the most recent version of your site is served to users.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log into the BionicWP Dashboard

  2. Access Your Sites

    • Click on “Sites” in the left navigation menu.

    • Locate and select the site for which you want to purge the cache.

  3. Navigate to the Site Cache Section

    • Within the site dashboard, scroll down to the Site Cache section.

  4. Purge All Caches

    • Click on the Purge All Caches button.

    • This action will clear all caching layers associated with your site.

Pro Tip: After purging the cache, it's advisable to perform a hard refresh in your browser to ensure that you're viewing the most recent version of your site. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + F5 on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac.
